Summary of the previous meeting
The first PLAsTiCC workshop was held at the Flatiron Institute, in Manhattan on July 14, 2017. The workshop will be a meeting of folks interested in problems of classification and typing for LSST of transients (including but not limited to supernovae) for the upcoming data.
The schedule for the meeting is here.
We have a list of participants for the meeting, please contact Renée Hlozek using the contact page for more info, or to register for the workshop.
We put out a call for transient models to be submitted to the challenge data set. This call is active until June 1, 2017, when we will begin adding in these transient models into a final data set for the PLAsTiCC data set.
Funding for this workshop is provided by the LSST Corporation Enabling Science Grant, and the Simons Foundation.
